  1. Send note to back
2. Roll note up/Roll note down
3. Autosize note
4. Always on Top
5. Show Title
6. Lock Note
7. Copy note to Quick Sync

10. Export note to file
11. Move to another Desktop
12. Theme Select
13. Delete note
14. Hide note

16. Arrange all notes

Each one of the menu items of the note menu are going to be explained at the topics below:

1. Send this note to back
Sends the selected note to the back order of all other notes (behind).

2. Roll Up/Roll Down
Works as a shortcut alternative to roll the note up or roll the note down, which can be done also using the mouse wheel over the note's title and UP/DOWN arrow keys. If the note is rolled down, this item will show "Roll Up", and once the note is rolled up, this item will update to "Roll Down", with the proper arrow down icon. You can see in more details how the Roll Up/Roll Down function works at the Note Layout section of this help.

3. Auto-size Note
Starting from version 1.5, 7 Sticky Notes auto-sizes the note's height every time you save it so it fits exactly the height of the text inside it. This menu item allows you to auto-size the note any time directly, just like it would if you saved the note. Additionally, if you click this item pressing the SHIFT key, all other visible notes will also be auto-sized.

4. Always on Top
Quickly makes the note as "Always on Top" or not. If the notes is setup to "Always on Top", it will always show on top of any other windows you have on your screen. This menu item also changes its icon to easily show if the note is on top or not. If the note is on top, the icon will be colored, if the note is not always on top, the icon will be faded in gray to show that the option is disabled.

5. Show Title
Quickly shows/hides the note title. Simply click to show the note title, and click again to hide it. This menu item also changes its icon to easily show if the note has its title or not. If the note has the title, the icon will be colored, and if the note doesn't have the title visible, the icon will be faded in gray.

  6. Lock Note
Starting from version 1.9, 7 Sticky Notes offers a nice "Lock Note" feature! It allows you to easily lock/unlock your notes, so they can't be modified by accident. When a note is locked, it will be fixed until you unlock it, which means that normal actions like roll, move, resize, delete, etc won't be available. Also, when the note is locked, a nice "Lock" icon will be shown on the lower left of the note, to easily identify that the note is locked.

This menu item also changes its icon to easily show if the note is locked or not. If the note is locked, the icon will be a colored "locked lock", and if the note is unlocked, the icon will be a faded in gray "unlocked lock". To unlock the note again, simply right click it and choose the "Unlock note" menu item, and then it will be available to me modified normally.

Note: If you enable the "Require password to unlock notes" option at the Security Section of the program options, you will only be able to unlock the note after entering the correct password.

7. Copy note to Quick Sync
Instantly copies the selected note into the the Sync File. This menu item is one of the functions of the Online Sync feature of 7 Sticky Notes and will only be visible if you have activated the Online Synchronization at the Sync Section of 7 Sticky Notes Options. If the "Move notes by default to Quick Sync" option is enabled at the Sync Section of 7 Sticky Notes Options, this item will be called "Move note to Quick Sync" and it will by default move the note to que Quick Sync area. Also, if you press the CTRL key when clicking this menu, you will invert the "Copy" action to "Move", and vice-versa. To know how the 7 Sticky Notes Online Synchronization feature works, please check the Online Sync topic of this help.

8. Duplicate Note
Instantly duplicates the selected note, creating an identical note with all characteristics at the same Desktop. This menu has a default shortcut key of CTRL + D. So if you have the note focused, just press CTRL + D and it will be duplicated! 9. Copy Note
Copy the selected note to 7 Sticky Notes' transfer area, so it can be pasted at the Notes Manager, and also to the Windows clipboard, so it can be available outside 7 Sticky Notes. To know how to use the paste function of the Notes Manager, please check the Notes Manager's Menus & Toolbars topic of this help. When you use this menu, the available information passed to the Windows clipboard are the Title and the Text of the note, which you can use, for example, to paste into notepad, word, or any other editing software.

10. Export note to file...
Exports the selected note to a ".7sn", ".txt" or ".zip" file, with all its parameters and attached files if selected, so it can be easily moved, copied, e-mailed, and transported to any other PC. If you have any attached files at the note, you will be able to export the note with its embedded or linked attachments compressed as well. To know more how the attachments work, please see the next topics Attaching Files and Attach Pad Layout. For example, you can use this feature to send your notes to other people, or to store them within an online storage folder. This file can be later imported back into 7 Sticky Notes using the Notes Manager.
Export Note With Attachments
11. Move to another Desktop
Allows sending the note to another Desktop Directly. Just use the submenu items to choose the destination Desktop and the note will be sent there. This can also be used by the drag and drop features of the Notes Manager.

12. Theme Select
Allows to quickly change the theme of the note. The themes options showed are all the ones created at the Themes Section of the 7 Sticky Notes Options, and also all icons are drawn to show a preview of the color theme and the currently selected theme is identified with a small "tick" over the theme preview icon. This same function can be performed by pressing "CTRL + UP" to select the previous theme, and "CTRL + DOWN" to select the next theme, as described in the Keyboard Shortcuts section.

13. Delete Note
Allows recycling or deleting permanently the note. If you just click this item, the note will be moved to 7 Sticky Notes Recycle Bin, but if you click this item with the "SHIFT" key pressed, then the note will be permanently removed.

Note: If you permanently delete a note with embedded attached files, all the files will permanently removed as well! This menu option performs the same function as the upper right "x" button of the note, showed at the Note Layout Topic.

14. Hide note
Starting from version 1.9, 7 Sticky Notes offers the new "Hide note" feature. It allows you to easily hide a note that you won't need for now, and then show it again later. Once you click this menu, the note will disappear and stay hidden. The hide feature is also completely compatible with the Alarm function. If you would like to show hidden notes or see which notes are hidden, just use the dedicated menus and functions at the Notes Manager.

15. Undo Cancel Editing
Starting from version 1.9, 7 Sticky Notes offers this very nice new feature that allows you to undo the last cancel editing, in case you did it by mistake! This is extremely helpful if you cancelled the editing of a new or existing note by accident, and want to roll back the action (and restore the lost data).

To use it is extremely easy, every time you cancel an edition, either an existing note or a new note, 7 Sticky Notes will store the discarded data and add a new "Undo Cancel Editing" menu at the note right click menu. Inside this menu, there will be two items, one to allow undoing the cancel editing of a new note (if any) and other to allow undoing the cancel editing of the selected note (if any). Simply click them and you'll instantly undo the cancel and get back to the editing point you were! Note that if you close 7 Sticky Notes, the undo won't be possible anymore. The picture below shows the two undo editing menus:

16. Arrange
Lets you arrange the notes on your screen, with sorting, grouping and positioning options. The arranging feature is going to be described in details at the Arranging Notes topic.
