5.10. Showing/Hiding Notes
As commented previously in this help, 7 Sticky Notes has 2 visible states for your notes: (1) the notes are shown, and (2) the notes are hidden. In order to help you switching between these two states, there are several ways you can use to get the notes visible or hidden, which are going to be described in the items below:

1. Keyboard: Among the keyboard shortcuts for 7 Sticky Notes, one of them is the "Show Notes/Hide Notes" shortcut. By default, the show/hide notes shortcut of 7 Sticky Notes is "WIN + X", and is also by default enabled after the first installation. To use it to show or hide the notes, just press the key combination "WIN + X" and, if the notes are shown they will be hidden, and if they are hidden, they will be shown. If you would like to change the keys of
this, or any one of the shortcuts, or even disable them, just go to the 7 Sticky Notes Options and change them exactly like you want!

2. Program Menu: As was described in the 7 Sticky Notes' Menu topic, you can use the two menu items "Show Notes" and "Hide Notes" to switch notes between visible/not visible, or use the "Show Desktop" menu item to switch between your desktops, like is showed at the image below. For more details on using the 7 Sticky Notes program menu please check the 7 Sticky Notes' Menu topic, and for more details on using multiple desktops, please check topic Using Multiple Desktops.
3. Tray Icon/Taskbar button: As described in the Tray Icon and Taskbar topic, you can use the 7 Sticky Notes tray icon and/or taskbar button (if visible) to switch notes between visible/not visible, by clicking the tray icon or using the Windows 7 taskbar button. For more details, please check the Tray Icon and Taskbar topic.

4. Desktop Switcher: One of the methods you can use also to show the notes, is the Desktop Switcher. As was described in the Desktop Switcher topic, the Desktop Switcher is used to cycle through your desktops, but can be also used to show the notes. For more details on how using it, please check Desktop Switcher.

5. Notes Desktop: As is going to be described in the next topic, the Notes Desktop will also show the notes if they are not visible, so you can use it too to show the notes. Not only that, but if you enable the "Hide notes when I hide the Notes Desktop" option at the Visual Effects section of the 7 Sticky Notes options, you can also have the notes hidden when you hide the Notes Desktop, making it work as a show/hide function too!

6. Notes Manager: The final method you can use to show the notes is at the Notes Manager. As will be explained at the Desktops topic, from the Notes Manager you can manage all your current Desktops, which includes switching to a specific one. For more details on how using it, please check the Desktops topic of the Notes Manager.
